1. No Cookies
Remove Gemini Watermark does not use any first-party or third-party cookies.
We believe in complete user privacy: you do not need to accept tracking banners or worry about cross-site ad profiling when using our utility.
2. Browser Local Storage for Preferences
We do not set cookies. We only use browser LocalStorage strictly for two user interface states:
- Theme Preference: Remembers whether you selected Light Mode or Dark Mode (or system default).
- Locale Suggestion Dismissal: Remembers whether you have dismissed the language suggestion banner.
The active language itself is encoded in the page URL (e.g. / for English or /zh-Hans for Simplified Chinese), not stored in local storage or cookies.
3. Analytics Telemetry
If privacy-preserving analytics (such as Umami or Cloudflare Web Analytics) are enabled, they are entirely cookieless and gather only aggregate, anonymous visit counts without tracking individual users or storing identifiers on your device.
4. Managing Local Storage
You can clear your browser's local storage at any time via your browser settings. Doing so will reset your theme preference to default and permit the language suggestion banner to be offered again. The page URL determines the active language; browser language preferences may display a suggestion banner on English pages, but will never automatically redirect you.
